Dr.Gayani Amarasinghe’s MSc work on Help seeking behaviors of pregnant mothers for permpartum depression has received two awards during the Anuradhapura Clinical Society Annual Scientific Sessions. The papers titled “How Pregnant Women in Anuradhapura Intend to Seek Help for Peripartum Depression” and “Perception about Peripartum Depression among Pregnant Mothers in Anuradhapura District” were selected for oral presentations and received best paper (3rd place) and commended paper wards.
